Printing with Mobility Print

Installing

Mobility Print is a new way of printing from your own devices, which is far simpler to use than uploading PDFs to the webprint service. It appears as a normal printer on your computer, so can be used from any application and allows you to choose the settings as you would for any other printer.

To start, visit https://print.keble.ox.ac.uk/setup. It should correctly detect the computer platform you are using and give you the appropriate download, but if for any reason it gets it wrong you can choose the correct operating system at the bottom of the screen.

Do not rename the file that is downloaded. The filename contains information that points it to the Keble print server.

On a Windows or Mac platform, run the installer that was downloaded. On IOS or Android, follow the instructions given.

You’ll be given the option of which printers to install:

There are two options: one that allows colour printing, and one that forces printing to black and white to ensure no surprises on charges for printing. You can install either or both.

You will be prompted for your network login. This is your Keble network login, not your SSO, although the username will usually be the same. If you have forgotten or have never set your Keble password, you can reset it here: https://webprint.keble.ox.ac.uk/reset

The login credentials will be stored on the computer. Any users of the computer would be able to send print jobs via those credentials, although it won’t print (and you won’t be charged) unless you scan your card on a photocopier and release the document for printing.

Click the ‘Download' button under ‘Step 1’

Go to your Settings and select Profile Downloaded > Install

After install you can now go to your file of choice that needs printing. Open the file and select ‘Print’

Click ‘No Printer Selected’ to choice which printer you would like to use

The first time you select a printer it will prompt you for your network login.
